  • About Max Wohlgemuth Kitslaar

    Author and speaker

Max Wohlgemuth Kitslaar rode from Chile to New York on an oldtimer motorcycle and wrote Miles Ahead about the journey

Max Wohlgemuth Kitslaar obtained degrees in Criminal Law and Latin American Studies. After playing a key role within a successful technology company, he decided to leave the business, having recognized in his work the absence of a greater sense of meaning.

He decided to change course and investigate how other successful companies are able to integrate a social element in their business model during a motorcycle journey from Chile to New York. About this road trip and the book he wrote about it, Max gives lectures.

Max is also the founder of De StudentenAdvocaat, an online platform that gives legal advice to students. Each December, he is responsible for modelling the annual toy drive for St. Nicholas, generating gifts for tens of thousands of underprivileged children throughout the Netherlands.
